5th - Louise A. Jackson will be visiting the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) in Springfield, MO. She will be speaking on the topic, "Writing and Selling Easy Readers and Hi/Lo Vocabulary Books."

13th thru 15th - The author will be visiting the Missouri Association of School Librarians (MASL) at the Tan-ta-Ra Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks. She will be speaking on the topic, "Diversity in Recent Children's Books of the West."
